Buying Collections
We are active buyers of estates and collections of any size. We buy in the D.C. area, Virginia, and beyond. We are easy to work with and pay fair prices.
Collection Appraisals
We offer appraisal services to local customers at a reduced hourly rate. We perform appraisals for insurance, estate planning or other purposes.
Grading Submissions
We are authorized dealers of PCGS, NGC and CAC and allow local collectors to submit coins and paper money to these services using our accounts.
Auction Consignment
For collectibles best sold at auction, we leverage our relationships with the major auction companies to achieve lower fees than collectors can achieve on their own.
Expert Witness
We periodically provide expert witness services (either consulting or testifying) in support of litigation if the needs are a good match for our expertise.
While we primarily operate as a ‘coin dealer to coin dealers’ around the country, we support the coin collecting hobby in our local community and offer some limited services to the public in the northern Virginia/Washington DC/Maryland area and surrounding communities.
These services are intended to support local collectors in our geographic area. If you are not from our area, we will be happy to refer you to a reputable dealer in your area for similar support.
Services We Don’t Offer
Selling Coins to Collectors
As a nationally focused wholesale dealer, we don’t have a shop or showroom for browsing. However, you can find us at coin shows in the area.
Taking Consignments
We buy outright items in which we trade. We can refer you to another reputable professional if you have coins best suited for consignment.
Want List Service
We are focused on accumulating collections and inventory for wholesale trade and not able to track down individual coins.
Auction Repping
Our inventory is not acquired at auction so attending auctions and viewing auction lots are not regular activities for us.
Consulting and Advising
As a B2B focused dealer; we do not provide collection advisory services. We can connect you with a dealer in your area/series.
